Book a Retreat/Family Reunion

We believe Murray Grove just may be the perfect locale for your next one-day or overnight event, as our primary aim is to make your experience memorable & meaningful! Upon arrival, most folks are pleasantly surprised by our expansive campus and find that the peaceful surroundings of Murray Grove make it the perfect place to detach from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We host weddings and ceremonies, youth groups, social action groups, congregational retreats, workshops, showers, holiday gatherings, and family reunions. We host silent Zen retreats and kids overnight camp. Meditation groups, in particular, appreciate the privacy, and our purposefully simple and serene ambiance. In addition, Murray Grove offers 4 in-house programs and occasional special events over the course of a year. You can find out more about them on our All Events page.

Lodging

Our two guest houses can accommodate up to 40 people in European hostel-style rooms with mostly twin beds.  A limited number of rooms have bunk beds accommodating three people. We have a special room for honeymooners. We provide all linens and towels for your stay.  Bathrooms are shared facilities and our Fredrick Guest House is fully equipped with handicap access.

Indoor Meeting Spaces

We have five different indoor meeting spaces and would be happy to discuss the best option for your event. The Lodge contains our Fireside Room with a wood burning fireplace and comfy furniture, and our Dining Room with comfortable seats for 60+ people.  These rooms are ideal for social hours, informal gatherings or mindful business meetings.

The Cone House can accommodate up to 60 people. It’s used for numerous different types of events or functions. Smaller gathering room facilities are located in our guest houses and are well suited for small breakout workshops or late night chat sessions.

The Grounds

Our 20 acre partially wooded campus offers plenty of outdoor meeting and gathering options for meetings, many different kinds of gatherings and recreational events.

The Courtyard has numerous picnic tables and chairs that can easily accommodate large groups to socialize or share a meal.  The Courtyard Fire-pit is an all-time favorite evening gathering location.

For those inclined to recreational endeavors, our saltwater pool and play areas are seasonal kid magnets.  And our stadium-sized Grand Lawn is an excellent play site for field games or large gatherings.

Moon Arbor

Our Outdoor Chapel is often used for weddings or commitment ceremonies and meditation. The moon-shaped wooden arbor is surrounded by a large earthen berm and seating can be arranged for virtually any number of guests.
