The Grounds

Besides lodging and meeting space, we have a 20-acre partially wooded campus, an outdoor in-ground salt-water pool, an eleven-circuit labyrinth, screen house, large athletic field/grand lawn, play structure, walking trails in a wildlife preserve immediately adjacent – and a history of over 240 years. We are easy to get to – 15 minutes south of Toms River near Barnegat Bay.

Our property includes the Universalist National Cemetery. Next door, in the old Good Luck Cemetery, is the Potter Memorial Chapel, on the site of the original meetinghouse built by Thomas Potter in the mid-eighteenth century. (Click here for more on our history). Thomas Potter’s grave is at the back right corner of the chapel.

The 39-foot, eleven-circuit labyrinth, made of river cobbles, is set into the turf in front of the Memorial Boulder near the site of the original Red Brick Church.
